Safe And Secure

Security is always of paramount importance to us at Abbey Nurseries, it is crucial that the children are safe in the nursery environment. For this reason we have strict security policies of which all staff are made aware of and which must be followed. Both nurseries have a security system for admission. Each child is registered on each day that they attend and no child will be allowed to leave the nursery with any person who cannot be identified by the staff or who is not a nominated contact person.

Visitors are closely supervised and are required to sign in and out, therefore ensuring that the Nursery Manager is always aware of who is on the premises.

At Houston Nursery we have the additional security of CCTV cameras, strategically situated at the entrances and in the playground area. The entrance is protected by a coded digital lock and only parents and staff are supplied with the entrance code.
