Settling In

To help your child feel less apprehensive about being left at nursery for the first time, we will arrange a 'settling-in' period with you, a week or two before your child's first proper day. This can vary from a couple of hours, half a day, or a few short visits over a week, and depends on the individual needs of your child.

When you drop off your child at the nursery the staff will be ready to give your child plenty of care and attention to ensure that they are feeling secure and safe on your departure.

You will be invited to call us any day for an update about how your child is coping. When you collect your child you will be given a daily feedback sheet for the younger children and verbal feedback for the older age group.
